After a hiatus in 2017, back by popular demand is the 6th Chili Cook-off.
ASGA members and guests are invited to attend the event at Cathy Hill’s home in Geneva, aka The Hilpers.
With so many past winners, Marie Bush, JoAnn Riefel, Greg Mieczynski and more, the competition is certain to heat up for this year’s event. And what about all those newbies to challenge the past chefs?
No need to be a pro at making chili….review your recipes and gather your spices, this year’s contest is sure to be another fun-filled ASGA event. Planning on competing? Reserve your spot today as we have space for about 10 chefs! It’s preferred for the chefs to bring their creations in a crock pot. There is plenty of counter space in Cathy’s kitchen, plus room for 4 additional pots on the kitchen stove. Gift cards for prizes will complement the 1st place award of the “Golden Ladle.”
Can’t cook, don’t worry. Just bring your taste buds. We need YOU to come join the fun and be one of the many tasters / judges! Those who are not making chili are asked to bring something – beverages, appetizer or dessert. Utensils, chili toppings, some beer and wine will be provided.
